It's been awhile since I have used a subscription service to purchase clothes. Year ago, when Stitch Fix first came out, I was all over it. You mean I didn't have to go to the store and search around for a great outfit! I subscribed for a couple of months and then started finding myself more disappointed each month than excited, so I cancelled.
Well here I am, how many years later and I see a company advertising for a women's golf subscription box. I mean who doesn't like a surprise box each month? I'm the person, to this day, would peek at my Christmas gifts given the opportunity. So I said let's give it a whirl. I could deal with getting some new golf apparel and accessories once a month.
Short Par 4 is the name of the subscription service. You can find them at shortpar4.com. They offer different levels of their monthly subscriptions. They have one for men, kids, women, as well as one for golf gloves. I went with the Magnolia, which was $99 per month. If you sign up now they are offering 50% off your first box, that's a pretty good deal.
This is what came in my first box. First up, is this cute Callaway Golf Dress. It's sleeveless, which I love and comes with a pair of spandex shorts for underneath. The shorts have pockets, which are amazing. The dress itself has two side pockets, which comes in handy to carry a couple of extra balls. The back of the dress is made of mesh (upper back) which will definitely keep you cool in the summer months.
I also received these golf shoes. They are very comfortable and light weight. A little bulky for my liking, but I can deal with it. My husband remarked that they are super girly.
With the package I also received a sleeve of Srixon golf balls. Considering this months box only cost me $50, I think the box was worth it. The dress itself is definitely worth that. So if you're in the market for a fun way to be surprised each month, check them out. You can cancel the subscription at any time.
